Jonnie Kragseth
Executive Chair
After 3 years at MCP with my daughter, and serving on the board, I am returning with my son and I am so excited for this journey with him! My family loves the Co-Op model- being involved in our children’s education, the social-emotional aspect, and the friendships and community that MCP has given us. MCP is very special to me and I’m excited to serve as the Executive Chair this school year and to make many more friendships and memories!

Julia Merriam
Vice Chair
Hi! My name is Julia Merriam! My husband, Jordan, and I have 3 kids together, Mickey age 6 (he was in our 4/5s class last year), Mackenna age 4 (moving up to our 4/5s class this year), and Maddix age 2 (this will be his 1st year at MCP in our 2’s class). I am excited to be joining the MCP Board as Vice Chair for the 26/27 school year. This is my first time serving on a Board and I am so ecstatic to have the opportunity to not only be so hands-on in my children’s learning experience but to also learn about the business side of how a Co-Op operates. My family and I have absolutely LOVED being a part of this tight knit community this past year and can’t wait to make many more friendships and memories this coming school year and in the years to come!
When my family and I aren’t busy shuffling around from school/sports/activities, one thing we love to do is support our local sports teams! Our favorites are the Mariners and Seahawks, but we also like to attend Silver Tips and Aquasox games as well. The kids and I love to go camping (or as I like to call it, glamping! Lol). We make several trips during Spring and Summer to our property up north in the Maple Falls area where we enjoy rides on the tractor and gator, going on trail walks, rock painting, playing in the dirt/sand, hanging out by the campfire roasting hot dogs and smores, and of course spending time with our extended family + friends. In my free time I enjoy watching competition shows (a few of my favorites are DWTS, Survivor, American Idol), attending Pilates classes, attending live shows/music, spending time with friends and family, a good coffee, reading psychological thrillers, and slow stroll through stores like Target, HomeGoods, thrift stores, etc.
Joshua Reed
Treasurer
Hello, I am Josh Reed and my son Owen is returning to MCP for his 3nd year. My wife and I love the cooperative experience and decided to try and be even more involved after seeing the incredible growth our son has had at the school. Outside of school I am employed as a programmer and I enjoy listening to rock music and playing video games.

Erin Moser
Registrar
Hi everyone, my name is Erin, and I will be the Registrar for the MCP this year. My son Leo, will be joining the 4’s and 5’s class for his 2nd and final year before he goes off to kindergarten. My family and I enjoy going on adventures in the outdoors biking, walking on trails or spending hours at the park.
We joined the co-op mid-year this last January and have felt so warmly welcomed into this little community. Leo has grown so much and made great friendships.
I have worked in many different childcare settings until the birth of my second son, when I made the decision to stay home and raise my own children. Returning to the preschool setting as a parent in a co-op has been a very unique and enriching experience for my son and I. The parent partnership and involvement is what makes the MCP such a beneficial learning environment. Taking an active role in my son’s early education experiences has instilled a positive outlook and a deep appreciation for school.
We are so excited for this upcoming year!

Fundraising Chair
I’d love to introduce you to my little crew. We’ve got Slate, our wild and energetic 4-year-old, and Brock, our sweet 2-year-old who’s already full of personality and brings so much joy to our lives. My husband, Colton, is my partner in all the chaos and fun. This is our third year with MCP and have loved watching Slates discover his love for school and learning.
We’re big baseball fans and spend a lot of weekends at the fields. When we’re not out and about, we love being home — working on projects, cooking together (with the boys always trying to help), and mini camping trips. Whether it’s a quick walk, a park trip, or just running around in the yard, we try to soak up as much family time as we can. Life with two little ones is busy, but we wouldn’t trade it for anything! We are happy to be a part of the MCP community!

Ashley Pullar
4-5’s Class Coordinator
Hi! I am Ashley, the MCP 4’s-5’s Pre-K Class Coordinator. We have been members of MCP since my son, Archer, started the 2s class. We are currently enrolled in the Pre-K class for his final year at MCP. This is my third year as Class Coordinator and I am looking forward to another great year with another amazing class!
We have been so grateful for the co-op experience and I can’t imagine being anywhere other than MCP. One of the best parts about being a member at MCP is the sense of community and support from other members. Being part of the MCP Board the last 3 years as Class Coordinator has been a rewarding experience, and getting to be directly involved in our son’s early education has been an experience that I will be forever grateful for.
In my free time, I love to cook and try new recipes from other cultures, learn languages, and spend time outside. On quiet days, you can find me with an audiobook going while drawing or playing a cozy video game.
I am excited to see what our final year at MCP brings and I am grateful to be the Pre-K Class Coordinator
