Teachers

Jenell Martinez

2’s Teacher

Hi! I’m Jenell, and I’m so excited to be your Two’s teacher!

As a former co-op parent, I know how special this community is, and I’m so happy to be back—this time in a teaching role.

I’ve taught in a licensed preschool for five years, led sports and gymnastics classes for ages 2–5, and worked closely with families through ABA therapy. These experiences have shaped my playful, supportive approach to early learning.

I have a B.A. in English with an emphasis in education and take ongoing courses to stay up to date on best practices. I’m passionate about creating a joyful, nurturing space where toddlers can grow and thrive. I can’t wait to get to know you and your little ones!

Raine Loyles

3’s and 4-5’s Teacher

As a teen, I spent most of my free time tutoring, counseling at camps, and volunteering in local youth groups. My love for working with and supporting the children in our community is something I have always been drawn to. Once I graduated, I started my career in behavioral health in clinical, home, and school settings. My passion is working with children and guiding them through the challenges of day-to-day life. As I continue my academic journey in psychology and education, I have become more aware of my drive for equity and inclusion in all avenues of life for our youth.

Board Members

Elaine Clark

Executive Chair

Greetings! My name is Elaine and this will be my family’s 3rd year attending MCP. As the Chair of the Board, my job is to manage the administrative work that it takes to run our preschool. This includes working closely with Edmonds College and our Teachers, as well as property and risk management tasks and facilitating our board and member meetings.

I have worked with children for many years of my life and have always considered myself a life-long learner. Now that I have children of my own, it is deeply rewarding to be a part of a program that focuses on learning of not only preschoolers, but also their caregivers. Everyone grows at this school and that creates a very special and devoted community of families.

I have two children, this year they are 4 and 5 years old and MCP has been an integral part of their growing into the curious and determined kids they’ve become. As the oldest moves to Kindergarten, she is feeling ready and excited about learning. What more could a parent want?

I have found this preschool to be enriching, empowering and supportive and I’m looking forward to another great year!

Jonnie Kragseth

Vice Chair

This is my 3rd year with my daughter at MCP and my 3rd year on the board. I am definitely a hands-on parent and love being a part of my child’s education. It’s important to me to be involved and make a difference in our preschool. My daughter and I have both established life-long friendships within this community and we are so excited for another great year with everyone! I have chosen to represent our preschool with this position to help ensure that our preschool runs smoothly and efficiently. It truly is us parents & caregivers who make our preschool so special and amazing as it is!

Michelle Noble

Board Secretary

Hi, My name is Michelle Noble, my husband is JR, and my son Calvin will be returning in the 3’s class. Last year was a great experience for Calvin and we enjoyed becoming a part of the school community! I took on the role of the 2’s teacher half way through and this year I am excited to transition into the Secretary Board position. I love being part of my child’s education so early on and the Co-op is a great place to feel included, get education, and make a difference! Looking forward to meeting with you this year!

Alyssa Yalowicki

Board Secretary

I’d love to introduce you to my little crew. We’ve got Slate, our wild and energetic 3-year-old, and Brock, our sweet 1-year-old who’s already full of personality and brings so much joy to our lives. My husband, Colton, is my partner in all the chaos and fun. This is our second year with MCP and have loved watching Slates discover his love for school and learning.

We’re big baseball fans and spend a lot of weekends at the fields. When we’re not out and about, we love being home — working on projects, cooking together (with the boys always trying to help), and mini camping trips. Whether it’s a quick walk, a park trip, or just running around in the yard, we try to soak up as much family time as we can. Life with two little ones is busy, but we wouldn’t trade it for anything! We are happy to be a part of the MCP community!

Bryan Fugate

Treasurer

Hello! My name is Bryan, and my son Logan will be in the 4’s Class this year. Our first year with MCP was a great experience, and Logan had so much development in the 2’s class. I am looking forward to being the Treasurer again this year. I am big on community building and connecting with people. Outside of MCP, I enjoy riding bikes with Logan, photography, and playing games with my friends.

April Fugate

Fundraising Chair

My name is April and I am the Fundraising Chair for MCP again this year. My son Logan is returning to MCP for 3rd and final year and we are very excited about the community we are part of! We have both made some wonderful friends through MCP.

My goal for fundraising this year is to provide families with a variety of fun and engaging fundraisers throughout the school year which can be shared with friends and family.

Joshua Reed

Marketing Chair

Hello, I am Josh Reed and my son Owen is returning to MCP for his 2nd year. My wife and I love the cooperative experience and decided to try and be even more involved after seeing the incredible growth the kids in our sons 2 class had over the year. Outside of being a father and posting MCP flyers all around the Marysville area, I am employed as a programmer and I enjoy listening to rock music and playing video games.

Ashley Pullar

3’s Class Coordinator

Hi! I am Ashley, the MCP 3’s Class Coordinator. My family joined the Cooperative Preschool for the 2’s Class for the 2024-2025 school year and have immensely enjoyed the program and all that it has to offer. My son, Archer, is in the 3’s class for the 2025-2026 school year and we are so excited to see how he learns and grows this coming year.

Something we love about MCP is the sense of community amongst the enrolled families, watchimg friendships grow, and the direct involvement we get to have with our son’s early education.
In my free time you can catch me outside soaking up sunshine with my husband and son, caring for my houseplants, playing Magic the Gathering with friends and family, and baking delicious sourdough bread and treats. Thank you for trusting me to be your 3’s Class Coordinator!

Jackie & Tiffany

4-5’s Class Coordinator

We are the 4s class Coordinators, Jackie and Tiffany Boser. Micah is our son. We started Micah in the 2s class and really loved the dynamic of a cooperative preschool. We both enjoy crafts and any time we get together to be artistic. We also love going on family trips and any sporting events we can get to.
